Remember, you are great because you are grateful.
Can you believe it? Its already almost Thanksgiving! The end of the year is coming to a close and this is definitely the time to reflect on somethings that we can be grateful for thus far. Since I obviously can’t reach each person one by one, hopefully this small piece from me can give you some perspective. Also, make you reflect on all the things that you have been grateful for. As for me, here’s a few:
Growth. I learned a lot this year. I learned about myself. Truthfully, each year I learn a little more about me, but this year was pivotal! Things that have I experienced, the mistakes I made, have been something that has been new and lesson-worthy. Those mistakes have caused me to grow as a woman. I have been able to unlock my power as a woman and stand in the truth of that. It has been hard, but it put so many things into focus for 2020.
The Blog. The things which I wrote on this blog have challenged me in many ways: mentally, emotionally, spiritually. Writing for you all has been the biggest blessing all year. Writing these pieces have forced me to come to terms with a lot of injustices that are going on in the world, as well as, face things that have happened to me in my own life. It caused me to bare my soul in a new way. I never knew writing for The Ideal Firestarter would have helped me release or let go of so many things I didn’t realize that I was still holding on to. I am excited to see the next phases of this blog and I am eternally grateful to be a part of it.
My Mom. I know we have done the Mother’s Days piece already, but I don’t think that I can ever express my love and gratefulness enough for mine. I realized during this year, I have struggled with never feeling good about myself. About never being loved enough. I recently went home to visit family. Although, I never told her those feelings, she reminded me how loved I was. How much she loves me, cares for me, and how important I am to her. There will never be enough words to express my gratitude for that moment. Maxine, I love you–and am extremely grateful for you.
Take this year to reflect on all things that have been used to mold and shape you. Everything may not go well in your life, but be grateful that you get to wake up every morning and give it another shot! Be grateful for the power that lies inside of you. That power you get use to not only manifest your dreams, but the but could possible be used to influence others!
Be grateful for family, friends, breath of life and for love. I am grateful that you all come here day after day, month after month to read our pieces and watch them post online.
Thank you for believing in us.
