Time is a constant construct. Always moving forward. Always convincing those who don’t have enough, there will never be enough. As well as those whom do not believe time is impactful, or of consequence, will always waste such a commodity.
The one thing I want you to remember—as trite as it sounds—is that life is a journey. Every decision, lead you where you are right now. Celebrate the fact you are where you are—right now.
Take that in.
You are alive—bad decisions, indecisions and hard decisions—and are here. You are here!
Since you are here, let me encourage you to be grateful THUS far, as well as to not look back. Do not fall victim to could haves.
Do not fall victim to could-haves!
Comparison will always be the thief of joy. Regret siphons all sight and recourse. Regret complains, never rejoices. Regret gripes and is never grateful. Regret is the utter opposite of gratitude.
Dear ones, we all go through this life believing if we had just done different, different would have happened. And that different would have always been prosperous! We are always so keen to know that.
Going to school earlier, life would have been different.
Moving away, taking a job, dating a person, not dating a person, having blue rather than red as a favorite color—all would have made your life different. And that difference would have been substantial.
The thing I want you to know is that’s not always true. Hindsight is always 20/20. But what they don’t tell you is you will always be in the same spot if you are still mad about where you just came from!
